This blog also represents how I react to the events as a member of humanity with a voice, a determined voice that insists to be heard. The voice of an Iranian who loves his country but his priority is humanity; humanity without border. Golden Peacock for Iranian filmmaker, 23 year old Ms. Makhmalbaf

23 year old Ms. Makhmalbaf received Golden Peacock award for her film "At 5 in the Afternoon" at the closing of the 34th International Film Festival of India. In a moving gesture, Golden Peacock winner Makhmalbaf, who was not present to receive her prize, donated the entire cash prize associated with this award to Indian NGOs working for human rights, women and children.
