HUMAN first, then a proud IRANIAN

This blog represents the way I see some of the most significant events impacting the world and its citizens. This blog also represents how I react to the events as a member of humanity with a voice, a determined voice that insists to be heard. The voice of an Iranian who loves his country but his priority is humanity; humanity without border. I will say what I want to say, when I want to say it, and how I want to say it, but I will never lie. I will also listen; I promise.

Perle public toilet

Here, read the debate between Christopher Hitchens & Tariq Ali regarding Iraq war. In this interesting debate, moderated by Ami Goodman from Democracy Now! she refers to a comment made by Richard Perle at the beginning of the war in which he had said: "..And a year from now, I will be very surprised if there is not some grand square in Baghdad that is named after president Bush." Then she asks for Tariq Ali's opinion on that to which Tariq Ali responses:
...when the foreign occupiers finally are forced to leave Iraq, that a tiny public toilet in the big square in Baghdad is named after Richard Perle in memory of that remark.
I think it is quite possible that Tariq's prediction come true sooner or later. Perhaps we should already congratulate Richard Perle for this "great" upcoming achievement of his.

BTW, I would like to inform those who live in Toronto and are interested in Tariq's points of view that he is supposed to be speaking at the university of Toronto sometime in April.
